The cottages at Clyn Glas have been adapted and extended from an old agricultural building which probably originally served as a cowshed. The cottages have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. They both have their own gardens and garden furniture is supplied. There are glorious views over the valley and the birds which visit are many & varied. Large birds of prey (buzzards & red kites) can be seen circling overhead
The surrounding area is stunning and walks can be taken from the cottages. The sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay are only 20 minutes away and within the area are many things to see and do for people of all ages
Both cottages have oil central heating, augmented by wood-burning stoves and immersion heaters, so that they are comfortable at any season of the year. They each have an electric cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and automatic washing machine, as well as a microwave oven, toaster, sandwich toaster and kettle, .The kitchens are well-equipped with utensils and there is a more than ample supply of crockery, cutlery and table-ware, all carefully chosen to reflect the character of the cottages themselves. There is a television, video recorder, DVD player and CD/Radio in each cottage and a radio alarm in every bedroom.
The upper cottage has, on the ground floor, a fitted kitchen, a lounge/diner and a fitted bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and w.c. . Upstairs is a single A-frame bedroom with double bed, chest of drawers and clothes hanging facilities. It is therefore suitable for a couple to stay on their own, though a folding bed and a cot are always available if needed.
The lower cottage has a large fitted kitchen/breakfast room and a lounge/dining room as the major rooms on the ground floor. The lounge has a sofa bed and so two further people could sleep here if required. There is also a ground floor cloakroom with w.c. and hand basin. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, one fitted with twin beds and the other with a double bed. Both these rooms have more than adequate clothes storage space, as well as having a hand basin each. On this floor also is a pretty bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and w.c. Both bedrooms and bathrooms have shaver points. On the landing of the second cottage is a large airing cupboard which incorporates a heated drying cupboard.
