The 200 acre farm has been farmed by the Hopkins family for the past 80 years with the 4th generation already expressing an interest in carrying on the farming tradition. We have strong family ties in the area and Welsh is the language spoken on the hearth. Pengwernydd holiday cottages are the ideal base for your holiday in Wales.
We welcome those who wish to enjoy a quiet, tranquil holiday in scenic countryside. And, for the outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy country pursuits, for example: walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing or horse riding, Pengwernydd is ideally situated to take full advantage of all that Wales has to offer. The bustling University town of Aberystwyth is a short drive from your holiday cottage.
Finished to the highest standards, our newly converted self-catering holiday accommodation is within easy reach of North Wales, the Snowdonia National park; the scenic heritage coastline of Cardigan Bay with it's astounding marine wildlife such as Sun Fish, Dolphin, Grey Seal, Harbour Porpoise, to name a few; and the tourist attractions of the South - Dan Yr Ogof Caves, Oakwood Park, Pembrokeshire - are all just a day trip away from Pengwernydd.
We also provide:

• Stabling – bring your own horse on holiday, there are also many horse events in the surrounding area including shows and harness races at Tregaron and Aberystwyth

Come and enjoy a warm Welsh welcome at Pengwernydd, a traditional family farm located in the beautiful, tranquil uplands of north Ceredigion in the heart of Mid Wales
The recently converted Cottages are encompassed by the original stone walls which form an attractive courtyard. Great care has been taken to preserve the original character of the buildings while providing the comfort and quality you would expect from a five star holiday rating. The area is self-contained and provides ample parking
The cottages are all completed to a very high standard. Each has its
own private outdoor area, whilst the shared outdoor area also has barbeques, seating areas and attractive planting areas
The games room is a large communal area, also suitable for meetings and functions. There is games equipment available, a laundry room, kitchen and information on tourist attractions in the Ceredigion area
