Pen Cefn Cottage Holidays is a small family run business, situated in a quiet and beautiful location, offering high standard self-catering accommodation in tastefully converted farm buildings. There are four excellently equipped cottages available for letting, all graded to the VisitWales 4 Star standard.

Ty Gwennol sleeps 6 in 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk room. It is a restored two-storey stone built detached Welsh cottage with rear views onto the water gardens. It is double glazed and has Night Storage Heating with supplementary heating if needed. With oak beams and inglenook fireplace this is a delightful, comfortable and very popular cottage.

Y Llaethdy sleeps 3 in family room with 1 double and 1 single bed. It is a single-storey semi detached cottage, beautifully decorated throughout in country farmhouse colours. It is double glazed and has oil-fired central heating. With lovely views over the Pen Cefn gardens and Foel Pen Cefn, this charming little cottage is a firm favourite.

Ty Hen sleeps 4 in 1 double room and 1 twin bedded room. It is situated on the edge of the Pen Cefn property and has spectacular views over a delightful valley and the mountain known as Foel Goch. It is double glazed and has oil fired central heating. Guests love the dining room and lounge which have timbered walls. This is a lovely cottage full of old world charm and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Hafod Las sleeps 2 in a double bed and is a delightful, airy cottage adjacent to the main house of Pen Cefn.  It is double-glazed, heated with electric storage heaters and suplementary heating if required. It is all on ground level with an entrance through double french windows to the front from a paved path and patio. From the open plan living room, dining and kitchen area there are magnificent views down the Dee Valley to Bala. The shower room has a walk-in shower.

Each cottage has its own private enclosed garden, for the safety of small children and pets, and each has garden furniture and barbecues. There is plenty of off road parking and lock-up storage for bikes etc. The surrounding grounds are for everyone to use for their relaxation and there are two beautiful large ponds, which teem with wild-life.

Babies are welcome, as indeed are all children. We have a small grassy area with goal posts for kids to kick a ball about and a safe paddock where dogs can run off the lead.

Our on-site laundry is free of charge and also houses a library of books, videos and games.
