Deri Fawr means Big Oak and there was a mediaeval village here called Deri from which the house takes its name. We are proud of our four star grading in recognition of the high standard achieved, our first place in Wales in Bloom and our grade two Green Dragon envioromental award. We won second place in Wales in Bloom competition in 2007 and 2008 and FIRST place in 2009 and 2010.We took an 18th Century stone barn and sympathetically converted it into three cottages. . All are centrally heated throughout. Parking is right outside your door. There are three acres of land and garden for you to enjoy. The garden has flower beds, fruit trees and a vegetable plot. The paddock is surrounded by a big old hedgerow and is planted with native trees. At the bottom of the paddock, a stream runs through two ponds. Birds and wildlife abound as we try to manage the land to encourage a balanced ecology.

It is very quiet here and many guests comment on this. There is a gas barbecue and sun chairs available for your use. An 18th Century stone barn tastefully converted by Paul and Mavis provides three unique self contained cottages. Each has two bedrooms, separate kitchen, bathroom and comfortable living rooms. For the larger party we have The Annexe which is a twin bedded room with WC washing facilities, radio and a kettle for drinks. There is a self operated washing machine, ironing board and iron are in the drying room. We have cots and a high chair should you require either.

Minutes away is the award winning beach of Lligwy. Safe and sandy, it has parking and toilets. The Smithy Kitchen, dining area and lounge downstairs. Bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.
